故事以主人公和辻摩子（土屋太凤）在和辻家别邸举办的派对上，刺死了她的外祖父，制药公司社长和辻与兵卫（大和田伸也）开始。摩子的母亲淑枝（中山美穗）说摩子是正当防卫，并且聚集家族成员，拜托他们伪造事实。随后与兵卫的弟弟和与兵卫的主治医师间崎牵头把案件伪装成了强盗杀人。被邀请 参加派对的摩子的学姐春生也参与了协助伪装。
